D2000: LARGE-FORMAT DIRECT LASER FOR PLATES AND SLEEVES
The HELL PremiumSetter D2000 is a large-format laser engraving system for direct laser engraving of elastomer printing forms for dry offset, letterpress, flexographic printing and coating plates as well as for imaging digital photopolymer printing forms (LAMS). In the hybrid version, the D2000 engraves both plates and sleeves.
The D2000 offers all the advantages of PremiumSetter technology:
- The two-stage process (engraving and washing) ensures fast availability of printing forms, which are characterized by a long service life.
- The simplified plate handling by means of an integrated loading table, clamping bar function and foot switch operation makes the loading and unloading of large printing plates particularly user-friendly.
- The simplified sleeve handling by means of a one-sided bearing and pivot device (cantilever) makes handling round printing forms extremely easy.
- Engravings in HD quality are a matter of course for PremiumSetter, thanks to resolutions of up to 5080 dpi in conjunction with the controllable three-dimensional relief formation of the printing form.
